Why war or why

Moving into this subject allows me to express both the admiration i have for those who have fought in past wars and those who are still tied up in the current.  In the era of the vietnam war there was less young people being all 'gun ho' about the war as compaired to later wars. If i was being forced to fight a war i didnt agree with or knew nothing of why would i want to risk my life for it? Even now there is still no clear answer to what our purpose was and did we fulfill our duty or task? All the young men and women who lost their futures, limps and lives and i still wonder if it was worth it. Our history does not compare in the history or so many other countries yet we have been involved in countless wars that were not ours to participate in.  Being that i have direct family members who have at some point and time participated in the afghanistan war i usually keep my thoughts and feelings to myself so that  i do not disrespect and one of them, but i have never agreed with the way our countries tactics. Im proud to be American but not as proud for the stamp of damage we have left on Vietnam.

Dark shadow of the Financial Crisis, is there a light at the end of the tunnel?

After the stock market crash of 2007 it was the crash heard across the world. People lost homes, lost jobs and lost their minds. lol Crime increased and the sympathy of the world decreased for our country, and i don't blame any one but ourselves. We were lead to believe that there was a never ending pot of gold at the end of the rainbow in the 80's and there wasn't. So what are we to do, as a once strong and thriving country  we are now looked down upon by other countries. It's not a popularity contest, but it's true that the more favorable we are the more countries are likely to conduct business with us, and maybe even give us some pointers. lol

Is it really a surprise ?

After reading this weeks chapters it tends to make me even more upset. I really wish i could be more optimistic but with knowledge comes power, but also ammo. It makes a person want to throw their hands up in dispair or in dissapointment. For so many years there have been the wrong people in control of all the wrong things. Will there ever be a day when the world as a whole will view all people of all tax brackets as equals? Less selfishness and more selflessness.

A Bee's Perspective: Talk Is Cheap...No, Seriously It Is.

You know i rarely see anything made in america unless i bought it at ochard supply lol that just goes to show how little confidence as an american might be knowing that their jobs are being done poorly cheaper yes but poorly made good point ms. ab lol

english1a foothill introduction to fellow bloggers

Hello blogging world, this is my first time ever posting a blog or following one. I currently am enrolled at Foothill CC, this is for my English class and I'm excited to be back in school adding value to my brain.lol I am a single parent of a precocious six year old who thinks she is sixteen. Proud owner of a black cat named cookie, who is my furry child. I love to listen to records, the sound is so different and timeless to me, nothing beats it, when i get a chance to read for pleasure i like Grishom type books or vamp books my Anne Rice. Born and raised all over the bay but originate from the great and crazy city of San  Francisco, currently residing in the south bay and loving it, better weather and i don't have to hunt for parking when i come home. This is truly and great way to learn what other people are thinking regarding similar subjects all over the globe. With that being said I'm going to end this and venture into the blogging world and educate myself on blogging etiquette and get some ideas flowing. Happy blogging.
