Dark shadow of the Financial Crisis, is there a light at the end of the tunnel?
After the stock market crash of 2007 it was the crash heard across the world. People lost homes, lost jobs and lost their minds. lol Crime increased and the sympathy of the world decreased for our country, and i don't blame any one but ourselves. We were lead to believe that there was a never ending pot of gold at the end of the rainbow in the 80's and there wasn't. So what are we to do, as a once strong and thriving country we are now looked down upon by other countries. It's not a popularity contest, but it's true that the more favorable we are the more countries are likely to conduct business with us, and maybe even give us some pointers. lol

Hey Jasmine! It's Akilah, so I totally forgot my phone today like an idiot and I don't remember what time you get out of your Japanese class. Is it alright if I give you back your essay tomorrow? If not, I will call you after I get home and I can give it back to you today. Sorry!
ReplyDeleteAlso regarding your post, I agree that we as people of the US shouldn't be pointing the fingers to others but ourselves. It seems that everyone nowadays has this notion of only wanting the best of the best so we spent out of our means and to keep living that way we had find by whatever means necessary to keep up that standard.. We as a country need to reflect on our mistakes made in the past few years and try to make things a little better for our own future.
I think that you make a good point, this is a great opportunity for us to reflect on our "bad behavior" and perhaps make some positive changes, not worry about what the others think, but become a more healthy America.
ReplyDeleteI agree with this, that we should conduct ourselves in a better way. We should focus more on improving the country instead of just ourselves.
